Trump is acting like that annoying girlfriend of 5 years that you have, when she starts making claims of “ownership” and slaps you with a matrimonial ultimatum or else.
His tariff-slapping weekend was somewhat creative/successful(?!) and 2 out of 3 girlfriends are appeased.
Trump vows to pause tariffs on Canada and Mexico after some sort of new socio-economic bounderies were set.
China is still sulking and slaps back the US with some double tariff digits of their own.
He dodged 2/3 of the bullets at least…
Speaking of DOGE…Elon Musk rummages through the central payment system of the Treasury Department(SAY WHAT, is this even legal?!???!?!?), looking to find ways to save up some federal pennies. Hmm…
Even though not defined/controlled by any government entity, almighty CRYPTO still experiences the jitters of the macroeconomic trends(as in tariffs and trade wars).
Volatility is crypto’s middle name, so brace yoursef for 20%-30% daily swings.

Tariffs are a type of tax on imported products that ultimately make those products more expensive for the consumer to purchase compared to domestic options.
Even though they are imposed on importing countries, who gets the short end of the stick at the end? WE DO!
They're commonly used in international trade as a protectionist measure.
