Microsoft is doing some DeepSeek digging - who used what software first, can a small Chinese company achieve so much AI progress in so little time with such limited spending?! It’s always the big guys trying to crush little man. Ridiculous!!!
Meta dear crushed earnings with its $65 billion AI spending spree plan for 2025 and then some more in the years to come. Hey when you have it, why not spend it…
Also Zuck and Trump make friends again and sweep any old ill feelings over Trump’s FB+IG account suspensions.
The 2021 law suit was settled, Zuck pays Trump $25 million and now they can follow each other on FB and be friends…the rest is history.

Meta’s Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg vows to allot $60/$65 billion in capital expenditures this year and spend more on AI in the years to come. Meta shares rose 2.3% in the after hours Wednesday, when earnings were announced.
After earnings were delivered Microsoft shares are down nearly 4%, while Meta and Tesla shares are up roughly 2% in today’s premarket session.
Shares of ServiceNow are down 9% after the software company came short on subscription revenue, a closely watched metric.
Whirlpool shares are down 12% after the appliance maker records losses for $393 million in Q4.
Shares of UPS dropped 3.9% in premarket trading Thursday, after the package delivery giant reported Q4 revenue miss and provided a downbeat 2025 forecast. The company also said it reached an agreement with its largest customer Amazon to lower its volume by more than 50% by the second half of 2026.
