After the security breach $4 billion were withdrawn from the exchange.

Bull vs. bear market

The stock market can be easily described using two powerful animals with opposite characteristics.

During a bull market, stocks are going up, and economic conditions are favorable and stable. A bear market causes the economy to recede, and most stocks lose value.

A bull market denotes a rise in the prices of companies’ shares, and employment levels are high. In contrast, a market is labeled a true "bear" market when it has fallen more than 20% from recent highs. The economy slows down, and unemployment is typical.
