Is Michael Saylor the biggest โtape painterโ or pure genius?!? ๐พMeow Motto
Good morning yโall,
Another roller coaster day in the book of trading wars. Canada was almost punished with 50% tariffs on steel and aluminum(25% original, valid for all importing countries + 25% additional, exclusively for Canada?!). The extra % was triggered since Ontario, Canada was planning 25% tariff on electricity export to US.
After negotiating, both countries decided to scrap off the additional tariffs.
Trump doubles down on red and buys a red Tesla in front of the White House in a promotional MAGA/TSLA moment.
Meanwhile airline companies blame recent aviation woes and fear of flying for ticket sales slump(or is it those expensive fees, add-ons and surprise surcharges?! Even Southwest wants your dollar now for checked bags!!!).
If Stitch Fix can have a comeback, airlines can soar too!!!
Hear, hear!!!

Painting the tape(Bitcoin orange)
๐พAn Ode to Strategyโs(MSTR) Michael Saylor
Painting the tape is a form of market manipulation whereby market players attempt to influence the price of a security by buying andย selling it among themselves to create the appearance of substantial trading activity. The goal of painting the tape is to create the illusion of an increased interest in a stock to trick investors into buying shares, which would drive the price higher.
You should watch this full video(a measly 15 min of your full attention, if you watch it at speed x2) and then Bitcoin will make so much sense. The questions linger thoughโฆ
Is Michael Saylor selling his ability to hold the crowdโs attention with a mesmerizing oratorial skills or is it insight after insight after insight about the whole Bitcoin network, structure and possibilities?
Is he trying to push politiciansโ and retail investorsโ FOMO/greed buttons and make them $Bitcoin believers? Is it a personal(company, a.k.a. MSTR) agenda? Is he trying to paint the tape Bitcoin orange?
Is he a salesman or a genius?
